Professional Qualified Member of The Guild of Photographers
This month I put in for my Professional Qualified Member Qualification (That’s a mouthful isn’t it). With The Guild of photographers.
I am excited to say that today The guild of photographers e-mailed to let me know my panel had passed. Now a Professional Qualified Member.
Becoming ‘Qualified’ with the Guild involves a rigorous assessment process, and one of only around 350 people in the Country hold this recognition!
The judging is undertaken by a panel of industry experts from a variety of photography backgrounds.
Below you can enjoy my the panel of work that was put forward as part of gaining my qualification. A selection of both car and motorcycle images. Including detail images and full automobile. All in my dramatic style. Focusing on not only the light but also the shadow.
A huge thank you to Gavin Prest, My Mentor with The Guild. He helped me navigate not only the qualifications but also the awards. Striving for the gold one day.
Now it’s time to work towards my Craftsman Panel and the next Level. Anyone else unable to sit still after achieving something…. but tonight… tonight I will enjoy some cake 😉🎂🍰
