The Mustang 55 Anniversary Edition came from a social media shout out to increase my car portfolio (now I know how much fun they are). As soon as Brian messaged me putting forward his amazing mustang I couldn’t resist but set up the shoot.
We headed out to an industrial area in East Sussex that I had used previously on a motorcycle session. I knew it would be perfect to capture the colors of the mustang.
The weather wasn’t looking great, but we decided to go ahead with the session anyway. I must admit that’s a bonus to photographing a car and not a bike. You can jump in the car if it rains and it doesn’t matter 🤣.
We did have to stop a couple of times for the rain (I gave up trying to dodge it as you can see by the first image below).
I really enjoyed the challenge of photographing the internal images, which is a first for me. The space to shoot inside the car was a huge challenge, but the lighting was just like any detail image I photographed on motorcycles.
The main car image from this shoot won a Silver award with The Guild of Photographers
